Haha, I live about 20 miles from Oceanside. It's merely 2 subway stops + 2 LIRR stops from my apartment. /wry grin

No, I actually haven't. But I live in Queens and work in Manhattan, so if any CBer in New York wants to hang out sometime, I'd probably be up for it. As long as you're cool.

QUOTE(batman @ Jun 30 2010, 11:29 PM) *
flushing has the best korean bbq place imo. i forget the name, though. my aunt always took me there.

QUOTE(tokyo-rose @ Jul 1 2010, 12:11 AM) *
Is it on Northern Boulevard? I can ask the friend who took me there for the name.

QUOTE(tokyo-rose @ Jul 2 2010, 01:31 PM) *
Northern Boulevard, about a 20-minute walk from the 7 Main Street station. Maybe Michel could drive us there. Also, Mel will definitely be joining us.

OMG, I move out of Flushing and then active CBers from Queens appear. D:

Wait, Mona, you lived in Flushing?! I live there! I thought you were from Canada; were you here on study abroad, or something? We've always been active; you were just MIA for ages. :( I'm glad you're back now.

I'm probably going to be in Virginia Beach next Friday, boo. :( Having Korean BBQ with Michael and Michel was pretty fun, though. If we can't have that big a meetup this month, we should plan another one for later this year, around November/December? I'm free for all of Thanksgiving week, and for five weeks mid-December. :D

I'd be up for it. My parents are visiting the weekend of Aug. 20th, though, so I probably wouldn't be available then (except maybe after 10 PM, since my parents are old and go to bed early).

Aw, great. :( No, I moved here but I used to live on Sanford Ave. I'll be gone once school starts again. :\

Also, what the heck? I'm having trouble posting. I can post via Quick Reply but then I can't quote anyone. If I use Add Reply, I can't click within the box.

I used to live near there! Kissena Boulevard, then Franklin & Colden Avenues, then Blossom, and now near the hospital on Main Street. It's kind of odd to think that we were neighbors. Were you born and raised here?

I always use Quick Reply, so I don't know what the problem could be. :/

I'm familiar with Kissena Blvd, Franklin Ave and Main St but I forget where there is a hospital. No, I wasn't born there but I lived there for 10 years. Yea, it is odd to think that we were neighbours, haha.

I don't know what it could be. It may be my browser but I'm not going to use IE ever again.

Going to New York in about two weeks! Need to visit some colleges, like SVA, Parsons, Pratts, NYU, etc... Any other suggestions? Any meet-ups?
