nope neither of those knew abbey's reason was more illegal. i don't look down on her actions, victimless crimes and the etcetera

Um, I think I only lasted 1 day without any sleep. I think it was cause I was playing video games and waiting for my aunt to wake up.

I don't strive to stay awake. I would have to be under the influence of something to stay awake more then 3-4 days.

longest i've stayed up is prob like 2/3 days at the hospital with my girlfriend, and even then i had naps here and there.
i would never stay up night after night to study because i don't care about school or grades enough for that. plus there is no way studying would do me any good if i'm that tired. never understood how that is productive for people during finals. extra rest has always gotten me further than extra studying when it comes to tests. i would never stay up that long playing video games cause i've never played a video game that interesting. same with internet. one of my biggest pet peeves in life though is when people don't sleep for a few days (supposedly) and then go around whining to everyone about how they haven't slept in a few days. hateeeee when people at school did this. |

like 36 hours. I usually find a 30-60 minutes to sleep before another task. This was when I was working 2 jobs and in high school. Only way I was able to stay up was because this site.
New video games always keep me playing for hours straight, reading HP books too. |

Maybe 48 hours? I can't remember exactly why because it was a while ago. I rarely go more than 24 hours without sleeping, since (1) I know it's not healthy for me, and (2) I just really love to sleep, haha.

Agreed. I designed my spring '10 schedule so that I'd always get at least eight hours of sleep a night (10AM's and 1:10PM's =  ). A lot of my friends would stay up for more than 24 hours at a time, then use energy drinks and Ritalin to help them stay awake and focus, and I was just like, :/ and wished them good luck.

I find I do a lot better on exams if I sleep a lot and just take notes on major concepts/topics during class and barely skim through the textbook the night before the exam, rather than study extremely hard for hours and hours trying to cram.
This summer I took five classes and I think the max time I spent studying for all of them combined would be about an hour. The more I study, the more poorly I do on exams... so backwards but it works for me! I can't remember the longest time I've been up... probably not long though. |

Totally agree with you guys on sleep + studying. I cannot for the life of me understand how people can pull all-nighters. I tried that last year since I only had 1 day to study for my HR exam, and studied til 2:00am and passed the f*ck out. It's ridiculous because I can normally stay up til 4:00am no problems, but straight studying intensely for all those hours into the night...not gonna happen.
I do tend to study a lot for my exams, but it's always a little bit each day. If I try to cram too much in one day, the concepts get mixed up and I can't differentiate between them properly, then I'll crash and burn on exams. Oh right, longest I've gone without sleep...I dunno, probably 24 hours. It was jet lag and my attempt at getting over it quicker. |

yesterday i woke up at 7:00 AM and i slept at 4:00 AM... i woke up because of the neighbors... and i slept at 4:00 am because my little 2 years old sister was crying since 8 pm.... I was going to kill her lol,,, but she was feeling very bad so i was with her
