What was it like when you first left for college? Were you scared? Excited? Did you get homesick at all? What were some of your first experiences? I'm heading off to college this year. I'm both excited and nervous. What was it like for you? Any advice?

wear flip flops when you hit the showers in a dorm, have courtesy and manners for your room mate, study and turn things on time, party when it's necessary, get to know the people you see daily, and just have fun??

they wouldn't be pedos if they like college girls, just normal rapists.

anyway, do like in that episode of Dexter's Lab where they partied before they studied.

Just try not to be raped/murdered. Does the collage you go to have rape buttons around campus? cuz you'll use them 3-5 times a week.

buttons that notify security of the location of the person in trouble. smart thing to do is keep on running and pressing the buttons for each time u go by one.

I went to a collage that had rape phones/buttons all around campus so if you are being assaulted you can call/signal for help.

The guide kind of made it sound like the school had a high rape percentage, not purposely of course, she just kept on about her tazer and pepper spray and all the other things the college offers in terms of protection. She just was weird about it.

My college experience wasn't all that special because I commuted to my uni, AND I still lived at home... So I didn't go to a single college party during my first year. I went to my first college party near end of my sophomore year XD

Oh yea and definitely don't slack off your first year... I did - big mistake! I was still suffering from senioritis after high school, lol!

No, it's a lot easier to procrastinate because, at least if you dorm, there's no one to tell you to do your work or be in bed by a certain time. Learning good time management skills is key. It can be tempting to put your work off and stay up late every night, but that will take its toll on your body and on your GPA. You want to have as high a GPA as possible by the end of freshman year so that there's a "cushion" for your next three years.

I'll assume that you're joking, but even so, I wanted to say this isn't necessarily true.. Yes, there are phones and buttons you can use to alert public safety that you're in danger, but I've never had to do that so far. My school is small and I've always felt safe around campus when it was late.

Also, it's "college"; this is a collage. :)
