Heartbreak Warfare > Who Says
Who Says sounds a little too similar to Stop This Train from his last album.

But I'm excited for Battle Studies!
To this day I have most of the songs from Continuum on repeat, so hopefully this album will be amazing as well.

I don't think "Who Says" sounds anything like "Stop This Train." And I didn't really like it at first either, but after watching the music video... I don't know, it just kind of clicked for me. But I definitely agree that "Heartbreak Warfare" is better.

From the sounds of the previews on Amazon.com, I'm not sure whether I like the style of his album yet. To me, it seems quite different from Continuum. My sister was quite upset about this because she loooooved that he went into the bluesy side.

btw, can somebody please explain to me the significance of using augmented reality in the music video for "Heartbreak Warfare"? There seems to be zero point to it. Sure it's cool that he's the first to use it in a music video, but does it really add anything to it?

i like every song on it. least favorites though...crossroads, he shoulda just left that with clapton i didn't really want any covers on this, and assassin. i don't hate assassin, i just have the urge to skip it because i like every other song better.

I still have yet to purchase the album (because I am Asian and cheap) and I refuse the download it... but from what I've heard on Tumblr and Amazon,

OH MY GOD, I LOVE "Assassin"!!!!!!!!!!! I completely agree with you on "Crossroads," though. I liked Clapton's original just fine, and then John Mayer had to put a strange twist to it.
