i agree, the site looks decent. maybe if you spice up the site a bit, you would like it?
i think you should change the bold, italics, underline, and the link hovers to a different color besides black. you can also try messing with the style like adding a dashed border under bold text, etc etc. |

Definitely work more the colours. You can use the colours in the background to accent your text and borders and such. Nice job though :)
