Do it in illustrator. Create outlines of the text, remove the line.

you could easily remove the line in MS Paint or GIMP.

Usually the songs go on the back of the album.. not on the cover; this allows more space for a bold, creative image.

That picture is awesome. Not really digging the fonts you used. In my opinion i would just leave the pic as is without anything adding text on the front and move all the text to the back on a black background. My two cents.

Yeah, just leave the sound tracks for the back and then you wouldn't have to change the font and then you could just remove the line in Photoshop and make the title and stuff bigger and move it down more toward the middle. thumbsup.gif I like the picture, though. :D

to be honest, i think you should change the picture. most people won't know what the image is unless they analyze the picture for a good two minutes.

i was thinking more of a grungy on black cover.

You can select a better font to go with your image. I like the graphic you used I wish I could see more of the person's face.

Looking at the image and song titles, it just seems very emotional.

I thought it was a back cover, to be honest. If it's going to be a cover there really should be a more interesting and catchy image... right now the focus is just the song listings, which is what you would expect to find on the back cover of an album.

It's MUCH better than the first.
Now chuck some bad ass textures over top of it.

biggrin.gif thanks alot guys . . . now what textures would you recommend, as well as how do you even go about applying textures? just add a new layer with it and change the blending mode and lower the opacity?

sweet, now what blending mode do you guys suggest using when using textures as well as should the texture layer be placed on top of all the other layers so that the texture gets applied to everything[aka the face, background, text etc.]?
Let me know
