I've only been sticking to neutral pinks and neutral browns nowadays because I tend to have a heavy hand when it comes too applying pinch.gif But I just like to collect pretty colors, so we're both guilty whistling.gif

yea IDK what color I am, but I just go by the color on my foundation (which varies by brand) which is beige-light. sweating.gif

Beige-light...sounds like you have a neutral light skintone. Do you ever find that it's a too grey/ashy/pink for you? If not then yeah, you're prob just neutral.

yeah I have a drawer full of preeetty shadow colours, never use em out HAH. Though I did do a purple smokey eye for an event thing I did, I used Shale over a bright purple UD liner - made for a subtle purple colour. Lovely. :D

I haven't found it ashy or anything, I usually only use 1-2 layers of mineral pressed powder. The only downside is that sometimes I don't moisturize enough where my chin-bone (dunno what it's called?) is... You know, below your ear. My skin's pretty dry there, so yea, sometimes it can be ashy, but that's pretty much my own fault. sweating.gif Combination skin has its drawbacks, since you can have dry patches in some areas, and oily patches in others. sweating.gif

Hm... maybe I should just go to MAC and ask them to put it on my eyes for me ;P

Bleh I have combo skin too. It's ridiculous how oily my nose/forehead gets, and then I have flakiness all over my cheeks :@:@

Wow Gigi your makeup is so flawless! and your skin too.
Your eyeliner looks so perfect, I'm still having trouble with mine lol

--

I never posted my makeup on here, kinda shy lol.
This is what I do when I'm sick and can only stay in bed. I play with make up! My eyelashes are a bit messed up, I think its cause there was still some mascara left from yesterday ):

I used the hot pink and two purples in my coastal scents 88 palette.
- A shimmery navy from my Klean Color palette
- Opal pigment from Bare Escentuals (I love this shadow, but I hate that its packaging, probably gonna press it once I have time)
- Sexy Curves Mascara by Rimmel
- White Liner from Annabelle

and um yah :3

^ How did I miss this?! next time just double-post lol!!

Sooo pretty love the colours, purple is one of my favs (don't usually have the guts to rock it in public though lol!).

Yeah I wanna give Bare Escentuals stuff a chance but I seriously, seriously hate loose powders. They're so inconvenient. I just wanna do my makeup fast in the morning and don't time to unscrew caps and make sure they don't spill. Pressing sounds like a good solution though!

Real simple today (note: I did not wear this out...I am not that brave LOL)

Shazam! That colour is insane.

Wow, I love that color, Gigi! Whenever I try to wear color on my lips it ends up looking awkward because my upper lip is thinner than my lower lip. Color just seems to accentuate the issue, haha.

@herLiminality: I don't know your name sweating.gif but I like the purple color. Don't be shy about posting your makeup, it looks good.

Every single color looks good on Gigli... she has flawless skin!!! :D

^ My upper lip is smaller then my lower lip too! I have the same problem and I dont wear color on my lips either.

Gigli, which eyeliner do you use? Your eyes are crystal clear. I dont know if I have posted this before but my eyes are very, very sensitive and every eyeliner I have tried to put on my waterline makes my eyes red, watery and irritated. Do you have any suggestions?

I know this is directed towards Gigi, but if your eyes are sensitive, it's recommended that you shouldn't wear eyeliner on your waterline. It doesn't look like Gigi put anything on her waterline here, based off of what I see on the pictures. I hardly put anything on my waterline because no matter what, it WILL smudge! And it does get bothersome too. In addition, I can't wear too much mascara, so I only put 1-2 coats. I used to have this cheapo mascara and it would make my eyes water! It flaked a little, and my eyes are somewhat sensitive, so yea that was bad. ;[ p.s. I like that the lancome virtuose mascara is somewhat watery (feels like it to me), but dries quickly. It doesn't flake at all. thumbsup.gif

herLiminality - woah, nice colors! I'm scared to try anything beyond browns and pinks, even though I have a bunch of other colors to play with, even when I'm at home. How did you apply the pigment? Wet, or patting it on? :]

BTW LOVE IT, GIGI! I miss you sad.gif AUGH I want to go to HK this winter, but no dinero. Then there might be a chance we could meat meet up again! Mongorian beef misses you cry.gif Product list please! And agreed, your skin is flawless - it was flawless even when I met you! throb.gif

Lol i'll remember for next time to just double post! xD

And thanks! I like wearing a bit of colour every day depending how I'm feeling. Since I wear glasses that are a bit thick framed, my makeup doesnt stick out that much lol.

Bare Escentuals is an okay brand, it's one of the first "designer" makeup brands I owned (the foundation). Their boxom line is really nice though, I love the mascara.

Ahh and I love your makeup and your eyelashes look so long! Your lips remind me of my nail polish - OPI Ladies and Magentamen lol.

I love playing with colours! But on a average day I'm wearing greys and black on my eyes.

I applied the pigment dry, just patting it on with a liner brush from Bare Escentuals. I never tried pigments wet before. I might give that a go soon :D

gigi you are gorgeous and your skin is flawless.
cozette, the purple looks really nice.

i can only use pencil for my waterline. anything else comes off, which is kinda strange, because pencil on my top lids smudge like crazy. only liquid liner works there.

In that picture I'm using a Japanese liquid liner by K-Palette...makes flick lining a breeze! And actually I am wearing something in the waterline - Makeup Forever Aqua Eyes liner in 23L, a shimmery champagne colour. I think I'm gonna buy some more of those because the lasting power's quite impressive.

But other than that I very rarely use eyeliner - it's too much of a hassle to get it to look pretty, plus I have huge smudging issues.

If you have very sensitive eyes...I would say try to stay away from waterlining, period. I could suggest to you a few great liners that are pigmented and relatively long-lasting on the waterline, but then again, they would probably only aggravate your eyes =\

Christina - MISS YOU TOO! <3 <3 Okay product list here goes...
FACE - Base stuff, NARS Sin blush, Skinfood Muffin Cake Finish, CARGO Matte medium bronzer
EYES - MAC Femme-Fi e/s, MAC Shale e/s, Benefit e/s in Fawn Over Me, K-Palette liquid liner, SANA Extra Long mascara (my new love <3)
LIPS - Rimmel Moisture Renew l/s in Funtime Fuchsia

Thanks girls <3

Gigi - woah I didn't know you used a color on your waterline. It looks so natural :] I love shimmery champagne colors - I'm partial to them as lid colors though. :]]

AYE TINA - hey so after using the UDPP and then the TFSI, which do you prefer? Or do they seem roughly the same? :]]

btw did anyone hear about the Benefit creaseless cream shadows/liners at Sephora? They're doing a secret steals (I think that's what it's called?) where you get two of the shadows for $10! They retail for $19 each! IDK how much they have left, but they were sold at at the Sephora at the mall near my college! Fortunately they have some at the Sephora at the mall closer to my house. :]] Gonna go pick up some today.

OMG are you serious!? does this include canada too? lol maybe i'll drop by sephora after my lectures (:

I do still have a bit of a love/hate relationship with benefit. I'm unsure about the "creaseless" name for it. Cause if it's a similar formula for their eye primer I'll be very dissapointed. I loathe benefit's f.y.e primer >.< But for 10$? I might give it a go *crosses fingers* I hope that special is over here too!

I missed the 20% off thing today at sephora for v.i.b members ): why did I have a test today

& thank you iDecay :3

They're pretty equal to me.. The lasting power is SLIGHTLY better with UDPP, but there was not a huge difference. I think I'd just prefer to use the TFSI though because of the packaging. I wish I could be a little bit more detailed, but I really don't see a difference at all.

I'm too afraid to try Benefit products because I always have bad luck with them. I have the creaseless cream/shadow liner in My Date's My Brother, which got discontinued. The product was not creamy and it was rather hard to work with. It makes a decent colored base though if you get it to the right texture with heat.

Dunno - I only found out about it because I was looking at deals + coupon codes (Soompi forums > Health & Beauty). The only thing is that they're in matte, neutral colors - honey bunny and recess.

Tina - yea I plan to only use them either by themselves or as a base. I just like collecting neutral shades of everything ^^;; I feel like I'll get the chance to wear them more if I do wink.gif

I will test these out sometime later (dunno when that will be though, since I'm so lazy and swamped with school TT_TT)

EDIT - Okay so I'm using the Benefit honey bunny as a neutral base, and I'm using a small, flat concealer brush to apply it. Okay now I know what people are talking about when they apply UDPP, then a MAC Paint Pot!

You can always opt for just lining your lash line. I prefer this since my eyes are somewhat sensitive and watery, plus I wear contacts, The health of your eyes are much more important in the long run! happy.gif BTW damn wtf is with MAC and so many new collections?!

I hate lining my lower lash line because my lashes get in the way and it gets my lashes all gross because I don't put mascara on them. sad.gif

LOL Christina, MAC always has new collections, but during the holiday season, they pump them out like crazy.

^ Yes, totally right about MAC's collection-churning!

I wanna check out the holiday stuff. I actually kinda want the brush set with the 187SE in it. Out of all the SE brushes, they say the 187SE is the best one. I can use that one for blush and my full-size one for foundation :D

And I reeeeally want that face kit with the 3 powders, but I SRSLY have too much blush, especially for someone with really really rosy cheeks to begin with.

I've never tried the SE brushes. I just bought a full size 187 because my Sephora one keeps leaking out blue goo. (ick..) I kind of want to get the eye brushes, and the kit Gigi is talking about. I have hella rosy cheeks too but I can't resist the set. dribble.gif

So.. recently, my skin has been getting dry and most all of my face care and foundations are for oily skin. Damn it.

Yeah, it looks like it would be the dye, but I dunno. It's just gross. I'm not gonna lie though, in terms of the brush itself, I like the Sephora one much better than the 187. The bristles on the 187 are longer, so they aren't as stiff as I'd like it. The Sephora one has a larger area and applying is much easier. But the thought of that blue stuff on my face.. sick.gif But I'm just talking about the brush in terms of applying foundation. I could use the 187 for blush, I guess.

EDIT//
Okay I compared the brushes and they're actually the same length, but the 187 has less bristles, so it's not as densely packed. I like mine to be like that because it can get flimsy that way.
