Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, not half-blooded. sorry...that just kinda annoyed me a bit. At least, if you look behind that strange door on JKR's official site, it says 'Half- Blood'.

I re-read CoS because JKR said that a lot of clues (more than other books, anyway) to the sixth book would be in there. Half-Blood Prince can't refer to Harry or VOLDEMORT....but why not Tom Riddle?

Hagrid sounds like a good idea, too...but he wasn't as important in CoS as Tom; at least, not enough to get in the title. It seems just like JKR to tell us that it's not Voldemort, but Tom. Dumbledore calls Voldy Tom when he's speaking to him. So, maybe the sixth book tells us a bit more about Tom rather than Voldemort.

And about Harry being conceited...well, really, just look at what he's been through!! In fact, I don't blame him the least bit for hating Dumbledore that night and yelling at him; Albus made a grave mistake at the cost of Harry's godfather. Sure, Harry was being stupid when he left the castle; but wouldn't you act a bit stupid and irrationally if you believed that you were about to lose the closest person to your father?

Yeah...just my 'two' cents...more like three...

yeah same here. i didn't like it too much.especially since he yelled at albus!

well, he did lose a person who was like a father to him, which is a huge loss and traumatizing event. albus held back a lot of information from him and gave it all to him when he was broken down and angry at the most. it made sense for him to break out like that. i would have.

j.k. has an interesting way of putting the characters in; i mean, who would have guessed neville would have so much linked to harry? you never know; the least person you'd expect could be this half blood prince; say draco malfoy, with all his bloated-headness about being a pureblood, then discovering he's not so.. 'pure' after all.

weirdness?

No, not at all. But sometimes the longer books are too much detail... and some details are uncalled for. _dry.gif

Yes, it does.

Also, BlondE x Babii, if you ever feel like a nerd because you read Harry Potter, there's plenty of celebirties that read Harry Potter. happy.gif And besides, nerds are cool. laugh.gif

Yes, she did say that. But, she's still writing the sixth book. She said that that book is turning out to be longer than she expected. The fifth book was longer than she expected, too. I mean, she can't be 100% sure that the last two books won't be as long.

Yeah, Harry acted like a really different person like towards the end of the fifth book. He's usually so like responsible and respectful. pinch.gif

Mhm...maybe Hagrids really like an important prince somewhere. But I don't find Hagrid all that interesting, sorry..lol I think Voldemort or Sirius Black are more interesting, their more mysterious. happy.gif It's sad that Black dies in the fifth book, I think he was the best part of the book. happy.gif lol j/k The best in the third movie

Actually I want the book to be longer, It was too short for me, I need books to keep me busy, and I am known to carry around a huge book all the time. So I want her books to grow! It'll just b harder to make all these into a movie.

hurmmmmmmmm i just dont understand why the "purebloods" are following Voldemort if he's not really pureblooded at all. it seems so weird and ironic.

Exactly. _unsure.gif Remember in the Ministry of Magic, Harry was talking to the Death Eaters. He told them that Voldemort was a half-blood. The DEs, or at least Bellatrix, reacted as though Harry had just insulted Voldemort or something, and she tried to curse him. It's as though they don't want to believe that Voldemort is half-blood because he's so powerful and 'great', hates Muggles and Muggle-borns, etc.
It's confusing. blink.gif

maybe the half blood prince is draco...or hagrid...
the fifth book was weird...like, how harry became all...dark...but you can't blame him because sirius died...i would act the same way. sirius is so cool...
i wouldn't mind if the next book is even longer...i need something to keep me busy. and hopefully it'll come out around summertime...
