Usually it's the yahoos in white caravans that make me yell and pitch a fit, not unlike a spoiled baby in their 20's being told "no" for the first time.

I exist now in the pause between sobs, in that deep place where one can only access as a child.

My knees creak from the pressure that's sure to buckle me down. Monkey on my back? Try a whole troop biting into my shoulders; gnawing, tearing, weakening the muscle.
