Something to do during my multimedia class. Turns out I'm gonna have a lot of free days. I usually log into MSN, but nobody is really on. I come on CB, but it's not exactly "hopping" this time of day. I got bored looking at Yahoo! news and random pages on Wikipedia. Sooo, besides YouTube, what kinda shit should I do?

well, most the game sites are blocked because of the ads they show. i think it's a new teacher, so he's pretty liberal with what we are allowed to do...i know with the blocks it doesn't give me a lot to do, but there has to be something.
i'll probably end up doing free rice, lol. |

lol @ blocking sites... use the google translator trick, or look around for a proxy that isnt blocked. or install virtual box and ubuntu. Sometimes the blocking programs cant interpret linux.

if the computers are all on the same network, you'll have to figure out what the network path is for each computer.. at my school it was something like
netsend 480 2 10 "message" With that being class, row, and computer.. though, it may be completely different where you go to school, but it was fun doing that in my first year, though, repeatedly clicking send so they can't [x] out of it, is frustrating, and the teacher doesn't appreciate getting pranked by it just the same. and what it is, is for one computer to send a message to another, kinda like IM but without AIM. netsend is executed through the command prompt. |

Should have mentioned that earlier silly.
Why dont you work on stuff? Make a website or something. If you turn on websharing you can turn a mac into a personal server. And for the google trick, just change the language from spanish to english even though it is already english and enter the page you want to go to. That way the url stays as google so it doesnt get blocked, unless they block google. http://translate.google.com/translate_t# |
