Dude, I went through drastic life changes that I kept from people on CB just because I didn't feel like talking about it. Everyone knew my real name and age, but I never felt guilty about not sharing certain things. People just wouldn't have understood what I was going through, and that's okay. Some of the rude comments aren't exactly merited, though. You know the drill, ignore them, etc.
