color change when i slice the top banner, help please

ive never noticed such a change, but i just sliced a top banner, and its colors are duller than when i uploaded it as one image (not sliced)


anyone know why this is happening?

I think this has more to do with Photoshop itself so I'll go ahead and move it to Graphics Help. What settings did you use when saving?

If I were you, I would just save the image as a .png instead of a .jpg You won't get the color change at all, and most likely the image quality will be better anyways.

Change the saving type of the slices to PNG 24 on the presets panel. It should not effect any colors.
