What is the longest that you have gone without doing something that you normally do daily?

I once went like a month without internet access.. That is my vice, I think.

Also I switched from drinking Dr Pepper pretty much non-stop to drinking nothing but tea. Only thing is I switched to black tea that is ALWAYS sweetened, so it's not like I made a healthier choice exactly..

Only if you sweeten it. Around here you can usually get it sweetened, they'll ask you if you want it sweet or unsweet because so many people in the south drink sweet tea. I always hate going up north because no one EVER has sweet tea available, you have to sweeten it yourself and it's not as good that way. sad.gif

I have a tea kettle at home and I always keep sweet tea in my fridge.

Me too, if you replace Mountain Dew with tea. I drink sweetened tea, too, but I think it's still better than soda. It at least has some good stuff, like antioxidants (whatever those are).

Don't drink too much tea! Especially black tea - it's full of oxalates, which will make you more prone to developing kidney stones.

Quit smoking, with the exception of having one when I'm really stressed. It's been the most difficult thing I've ever had to do.

Kids, don't smoke! It's so expensive, bad for your health and SO hard to give up.

From personal experience, no, never lost weight from not drinking soda. Then again, I've never been able to drink non diet sodas because they're too sweet for me. There's some conflicting research regarding carbonation and cellulite though.

Since I've moved, I'm mostly a tea drinker now anyway. The only time I drink soda is if I'm at Sonic. I love diet Dr. Pepper with strawberry and vanilla flavor additions.

i got my wisdom teeth removed two and a half weeks ago and haven't had any cereal since, even though i can now. i don't know why i'm not eating it right now, but i usually have like eight thousand bowls a day. this is definitely the longest time i've gone without having it.
