Me and my co-owner just designed it.
I feel its lacking something, it's too plain.
Tell us what you think.

Not very good. The picture was rendered, and looks very bad, some discoloration... the fonts used for the photo captions is too unique to use in the way that you used it.

- 86 the whiteness
- 86 that horrendous text in that wretched font
- I know I say that coloring is one of the best ways to alter a picture..but that coloring is NOT GOOD at all.

I would redo it. And NOT do anything the same way you had it. Sorry to be brutal.

The main issue with the layout is that there is no attention to detail. It just looks like someone slopped something on a black canvas. If this was your first layout I would understand.

this needs a lot of work.
a loooot of work - not to be brutal, just honest.
try blending some images, adding some brushes, adding textures, doing something.
this is way to plain and simple to even be considered a layout.

What I first noticed was how the polaroid at the top left corner is cut off. It really bugs me for some reason. Coloring and quality is pretty bad, tbh. When you do the whole polaroid thing, the best thing to do is look on Google or Flickr for a polaroid, paste the picture on top of the polaroid so that it overlaps the edges of it a bit, delete where it overlaps on the polaroid and use that. Because what you did to those images don't look like regular polaroids; the sizes are not right. And the font: gotta go.

:/

Finally, allow me to introduce you to ColourLovers. There are a lot of colour palettes you can choose from there so pick a decent one and stop sticking to black and white. Seriously, mate.

The fonts used aren't a good choice at all and they don't match with the images used. The images are pretty low in quality and the coloring is hideous. I think you could have done more to the images and make them look more like polaroids. Also, the polaroids should have some sort of drop shadow to make them seem more realistic and the font color, along with the font itself, has to match the polaroid and it should sorta blend in, if you know what I mean. I think you should also add some kind of light texture or something on the polaroids so it looks even more realistic. You should do more with the main image and make it blend in more into the layout instead of just having it slapped on there. I also suggest using color palettes like Mike and Thomas suggested. thumbsup.gif

try blending instead of putting them together like this. the whole polaroid thing is long gone. tongue.gif but it needs some colors and some brushes!! Make it cohesive instead of just a few pics from the movie. And make the font something more fun.
