Jonas Brothers Sumbission?, Help... Options

You're definately getting much better. The content area looks pretty clean, and the image isn't bad. The only thing that bugs me is those lightning bolt brushes. They don't really go with everything else, and the right one is blurry.

I agree with Gabi on the lightning bolts. And maybe erasing the scan lines on the JoBros would look better. But it doesn't look that bad. You're getting better and better.

Well, idk, I'm not really against the scanlines but I would say lower the opacity some and erase over the scanlines so you can see their faces and stuff better. Also, I don't like the lightning bolts either and honestly, I say just take them out. Otherwise, it's pretty good.

I take your advice because your all skilled. Take a look at my first layout its uglier then all hell. You guys have come this far from experience and I'm going to take your advice because you give it to help me become better.

Oh and jcp theres no reason for you to just flat out say: it's not gonna make it.
But lookie here it did make it.
And I know everyones not gonna be nice all the time but half the time you judge my designs way to quickly and then something exactly oposite of what you said happens to them.

You've made such a great improvement since your first graphic. I dont mind the lines too much however im curious to know what they would look like if you set them on overlay (assuming you have photoshop). Also im not too crazy with the lightning bolt...i mean maybe try setting that on overlay? Idk im curious to see what it would look like with that setting

I think it would have been better as a banner. Because the layout is just the skeleton.

No need to bring me into this. I take advice, I mean, I'm going on long breaks & working on my style. I might not be getting better as fast as him but I do believe I am getting better. You can't expect me to get better all at once, everyone knows that. He probably has more experience than me. I mean I only have 2-3 years he probably has at least 5 years. I started when I was 13 or 14 and now I am 16 years old. I mean, I have a life, too. It's not like I'm on here 24/7 just working on getting better at website/graphic design. Geez.

I'll show you that I'm getting better by posting a showcase of like 3-4 of my latest layouts and blends excluding those "childish" ones.

that design structure looks almost the same as your other disney layout you recently posted on here, ehh you should mix it up, sticking to the same codes but altering graphics gets OLD FAST. but good job on the image quality! i personally hate these ring f*gs so no comment.

Haha, I only made it to get my site more popular. I figured tons of girls like the boys and if thats whats going to get them to my site, then what the hell.

Anyway, last night I coded to random layouts with just colors. Because like you said I need a new style sheet.

Actually, some of the things that have been accepted recently are quite bad.

This one is far better than those.


It is EXTRMELEY tiny, though. Your resolution looks like it's 800x600 or something. It's going to look so tiny on my screen.

If you want to try something new, how about centering a layout instead of having it left aligned? Or you could go and make a div and ignore all the comments Joseph has about them :]
