For me, hand washing because I can wash and clean dishes a lot faster and better than my dishwasher.

pretty sure most studies have shown that a dishwasher uses less water, energy, soap, and gets the dishes cleaner than if you were washing a load of dishes by hand.

I'd say that a dishwater would ultimately use less water, by being a more efficient way of cleaning dishes.

I love the dishwasher. My mother's house doesn't have one, and every Thanksgiving we have to clean all the dishes by hand, in a small sink.

I actually like using the dishwasher but my aunt is such a pansy and we can only use it when we have guests over.

Dude, I've been washing dishes for a long ass time and they are never as clean as they are when the dishwasher does the job, especially when Jet Dry is used.
Also, paper plates and plastic utensils? Really? |

We always use paper plates and plastic utensils. And when we use proper stuff, we always use the dishwasher. Not cause it saves water but cause we are lazy!

Dude, I feel like such a nerd now. I recycle just about everything. I do use plastic zip lock bags for things, but I re-use them constantly. Izzy uses a sandwich shaped plastic container, instead of wasting a sandwich bag everyday, for example.

I don't know, whenever I pull something out of the dishwasher, it comes out looking all crusty and shit.
I'll stick to the sink if it means I don't have to drink out of a nasty glass. |

Then you aren't using some type of rinse aid, in my opinion. Or you're using powder dishwasher detergent. Either way, that seems like a pretty atypical result, but to each their own.

The two little tray things where you put the plates in on my dishwasher broke, I tried to fix it, but I got bore.
