Im so tired of hearing noobs talk about about somwthing on the internet not working and blaming it on their computer. If you cant upload a picture to photobucket it isnt your computers fault. I guess they are trying to find an excuse to why they know nothing about computers. and lol @ people who restart their computers when they dont know what to do.

i don't hate them. they are just trying to figure out what's wrong and don't know any better or what else to think.

i used to restart my computer all the time when i had problems. actually, i still do typically start by restarting when i'm having any kind of problem with it. it solves my problems like 80% of the time shrug.gif

I don't mind technologically retarded people, but technologically ignorant pisses me off.

People who can't wrap their minds around the fact that Internet Explorer isn't for everyone, or that Windows isn't the only operating system around.

Actually not being able to upload a picture to photobucket wouldn't ALWAYS be photobucket or the clouds fault. It could be your computer acting up, rarely, but it could be.

I love technically inclined people, they make me money. I, many years ago, was very technically inclined. I self taught myself most of the shit I know. Trial and error, and when error occurred, I called tech support LOL.

Now I am a securities system administrator for the most heavily guarded network in the world. I can't really use the trial and error method much in this job.

I just said if it wasn't the website or the clouds fault, which only leaves you and the computer. Which I am going off the fact that they know how to upload an image to Photobucket.

What if my newly installed firewall doesn't like the website (Norton does it all the time), then it's my computers software.

What if my internet browser crashed for some odd reason, that's software on the computer.

What if I edited the image from it's original before I uploaded it, and the image editing software corrupted the second image.

Note, I consider an internal network the inter-cloud LULZ.

Same here medic. I have self taught most of the stuff I know since I was a little 3rd grader...
Yea jcp. It's not really that annoying with the people that restart their CPUs.. They are just doing what they think is a good way of troubleshooting... That's what I always do when my CPU freezes and doesn't do what I want it to do..

Same goes with my router too. When Its having a retarded day, I just shut it off for like 20 minutes or less and then it will go back to normal... For the first 10 minutes.. Lol haha wel then I just play with the settings on it and then BAM! it's fixed _smile.gif

That is why 95 percent of everyone needs a mac. Because they dont know how to solve these things properly. And even for the 5 percent that know how to use pc's to their full potential so they never mess up have to waste time doing that stuff.

Unfortunately Microsoft has decided that every service should be turned on by default...the problem is, im not on a network and im using a personal computer that only I use, and I have never used system restore and I just manually install all my updates. So about 75 percent of the stuff on my pc can be turned off. Unfortunately almost no one knows that...so there pc behaves horribly because they dont have an anti virus nor do they use spybot.

Microsoft belives in potental, the potental to make shit tons of money. They don't care if 15-20% of their customers are upset with what they buy, they keep coming back for more. People can argue that Mac’s are gaining market share, but at the speed of a damn ice berg. Microsoft owns the market and will continue to own the market, so they can, as always, continue doing what they want.

If a few customers switch to Mac, so be it. Hell, if a few thousand customers switch to Mac, so be it. Microsoft will continue to make that cash money billionaire.

That's why I laugh about 99.9% of the time when people bitch and complain to me about Microsoft.

I get my lolz on.

MICROSOFT/WINDOWS/VISTA PCs are better...(my opinion-DON'T FORK ME TO DEATH!)

my bro downloaded this fast brower sh!t from facebook to put some tattoos on his profile, turns out the download was a melware waiting to kill.

since i'm not a total retard and i've fixed tons of computer shit, i just did a system restore to 2 days before he downloaded the crap. i smacked the shit out of him so he'll never download crap like that from FACEBOOK. & all is back to normal!

i hate happy endings... stubborn.gif not so happy for my brother though.

to resolve my internet problems, i usually just disconnect the power cord of my router/modem for about 15 secs and connect it back and wait for about 45 mins..works!

RE to AutumnSunsets..

well i like how the XP interface is, because its all right there.

its pretty simple manuevering around on XP.

Vista however, just kinda pissed me off cuz you have to do so many steps just to get to one point, and that point most of the time for me, is the internet connections. You have to go to control panel > then networking > then some other place.. but the thing is with XP.. you just have to click like one thing, and the place you want to go is there!

vista imo looks great, but the location on it sucks.
XP FTW hatsoff.gif

XP is an outdated pile of crap, XP 64 bit is a joke, and they both do nothing other than attract every virus you can possibly think of.

If you have to use Winblows, try Windows 7.

Ya but it is just as slow as vista. My mac will probably only have 2gb of ram until I get an upgrade.

I know SP3 is better. But it's still crap. If I have to use XP, I'll only use SP3.

But if there is another option, like sticking forks in my eyes, I'll take that too.
