Hrm...personally, I think so. Women can be just as strong as the men, given the same boot camp training. I don't see why not. Of course, what would the people back home do? What if a younger couple both need to go out to war? Who would be home to watch the kids? What do you think of the matter?

Why not? Women can be just as good and better as men.

I'm kind of iffy on this topic.

On one hand, I'm all for equality of the sexes, but on the other hand, if women were to be drafted, would men stay home and feed the children?

Both sexes have their own role and uses.

not really. lol i CLEAN better than any girl i know. that's a sexist comment. heck there are MEN CHEFS too and they COOK BETTER THAN my own mom. hammer.gif hammer.gif hammer.gif anyways, even though its conventional for woman to stay home, clean, take care of the house, and nurture the kids. BUT since that same lifestyle has been forced for generations, that's why MORE girls clean better and cook better than men.

Neither then.

Men and women shouldn't be (and are not because the draft is unconstitional) drafted.

Yes men would stay home and feed the children. Why not? Men can do just as good a job as women.

I really don't have a stable opinion on whether women should be drafted or not.

I think the term you're looking for is "selective service", not draft.

that's because everyone is a conformist. AHHHHHHHHH! anyways, yeah i hate the fact that most people are following what everyone else is doing, men doing the work and women stay at home. my mom is working her arse off to put the food on my table and my dad is currently unemployed. i really think women are as capable of working, women are strong! lol. yeah back then, men were working because agriculture > technology, medicine, etc. things are different now.

maids are mostly women because males think it is shameful to their gender dominance. AGAIN that's because everyone is A FRIGGIN CONFORMIST and have too much ego.

Agree.

I'm all for women to have the same rights and jobs as guys and what not, but again, who's gonna raise a family? No offense to guys, and yes, there are many that have excelled at it, but guys are not much of a family builder type.

Reading on, then I must agree with Fae again. Military service should be something voluntary unless there is completely NO other choice.

Hmmm should women be drafted.....i dun really kno i mean im not against equal rights and such....but i dont think they should i mean....men have always gone to war....women have been the support on the home front....they have been the ones here supporting the troops....which is just as important as the war its self....But then again women is war could dbe helpful....it wouldnt whipe out and entire generation of young men....and it would be less men over all goin....but i dunno

I don't think women should be drafted.. they should just volunteer themselves if they wanted to go. The same thing goes with men.
I found this article about a new draft going on right now!
