I ended up without an Internet connection so I tried to configure my router. Started up Firefox 3.5 Beta (my favorite web browser/I always use Beta versions of browsers to test) and started typing the title of the router`s web page into the awesome bar. I found out that the user name was incorrect so I updated my user name. That did not solve my problem. Phoned my ISP and configured TCP/IP as required.

Then on Monday I had to go to school because I promised a teacher to remove a trojan horse from her pen drive. Had to scan two pen drives manually. Anti-virus found a virus in the auto run file. Finally I scanned her laptop. Within 20 minutes the anti-virus found some tracking cookies. I would like to point out that although Firefox was found to be more vulnerable than Internet Explorer, security patches for Firefox are released more quickly and most security vulnerabilities in Firefox create a low risk. Although IE has a protected mode in IE7 and IE8, it can still be a source of infection through Active X Controls.
