Up is described as a "comedic adventure" starring a 78-year man named Carl Fredricksen, who's "spent his entire life dreaming of exploring the globe and experiencing life to its fullest". Due to his age, he thinks life has "passed him by". One day, however, a "twist of fate", and an 8-year old "Wilderness Explorer" named Russell, changes his outlook on life. The pair go on adventures, encountering "wild terrain", "unexpected villains" and "jungle creatures".

omg I teared up at the first part where the wife found out that she couldn't you-know-what and then I actually CRIED when you-know-what happened to her, and BAWLED while he was remember her when he looked through the adventure you-know-what

I saw this in 3-D. cool.gif

Oh man, it was such an awesome movie. AUGH I wish it was longer, but I liked that everything was wrapped up nicely. <3

even for a guy, i must admit that was a pretty good movie. i took a date to the movie and she was just bawling pretty much the whole way through. definitely recommend this movie

I watched it in 3D too! There weren't too too many parts that "stuck out" though.... but damn, Up and the short were both so awesome! I absolutely love Mr. Fredricksen and Russell... they're such cutie pies.

I teared up pretty much every time they mentioned Ellie, especially that whole montage at the beginning. Man, good good stuff.

^ Partly Cloudy was definitely amazing. tongue.gif I would so go to theaters if they had made it into a full length thing.

I thought the trailer was very misleading. It didn't give us anything on the whole romance behind the story at all, which is what surprised me when I actually got to the theater. I'm not going to lie, I was bawling. _unsure.gif It was sad!

I saw it in 3-d too :D It did wrap up nicely although I felt like it was sort of rushed? Maybe not who knows..I didn't want it to end.

This movie was adorable. Kevin was my favorite character. I loved his random noises. tongue.gif

My favorite part was when Doug was telling a joke about the squirrel. "Once there was a squirrel who forgot to store nuts for the Winter. Then he died. This is funny because the squirrel dies."
