Yeah it does look professional. I like the blue you used. I like the "Latest Articles" bar at the top and the rollovers. It's very simple and I liked it. Nicely done.
 The only thing is that towards the bottom of the page, some of the posts don't have images and stuff like the ones up top, if that makes sense.

The only things I don't like are the colors and the top part. Mainly the top part. Nice though, I like looking through it.

yeah the post at the very bottom are made to not have images shown unless you click on the article.
i'm sure i will change some colors, and things step-by-step thanks for the comments |

Ooo, nice. It looks nice and professional. Although, I should mention that the title where it says "j3 magazine" is choppy in IE. It's really nice though. Great job, John!
 Not really important but the layout sort of looks similiar to the PSDTUTS+ website layout...but w/e. :) |

Like you put your partner sites at the bottom with their logos (just like PSDTUTS+) and kind of like the same footer but w/e, it's just me.

I think it'd be really cool if the "j3 magazine" title at the top were some image logo instead of text. |

Yeah, I agree because the text looks choppy in IE. Just make a two "logos" to set them as a rollover, since that looks like what you want.
