Hello, again!

I like showing WIPs (Work in progress), so I suppose I can showcase them here. (If you don't mind. :])

I will occasionally update as I slowly approach to the completion of this picture.

I drew this many months ago and I am mostly skilled at Anime style. >_> I can also do realism but I only seldom focus on that.

FINISHED EDIT thumbsup.gif :

Initial Sketch:

Step #1:

Originally, I drew this earlier this year and only began to do the line-art (which is vexel, not vector style) for the past few days.

...And yeah it's a fan art (from Final Fantasy VI), but everything was drawn free-handedly.

My next step is the coloring and upon each section I complete, I will post it here to see what you guys think. :]

P.S. I apologize if she's too skinny. <_< The official artwork of her portrays her as almost rail thin. D: This is as far as I could go without making her look too anorexic. Also, she's not gripping the sword, if she was, she'd be holding it tighter; so no blood. :D

So pretty. :) You did a great job outlining the sketch, in my opinion. Post more!

How long did it take you to do the lineart? The hair must have taken forever. o.O

Thank you, everyone!

The drawing took an hour or so.

The lineart took around five hours. >_< I got extremely impatient with the designs on her clothes and her hair.

:<

If I have to predict about the coloring, it will probably take another 20-30 hours to complete. It's the longest and most tedious process. Haha ;_;

This is amazing, Cindy. I was going to say that her eyes look a little odd in the sketch, but they look fine in the first step. Great job on the hair and details of her clothing.

Thank you everyone (again!).

>_> Yeah, her eyes aren't the usual style I draw... I tried to make it realistic or less anime, but it turned out a little odd.

Perhaps the colored version will look a bit better?

Here are the base color applied.

The next step is to add the shadows and light(s?) on all of the appropriate areas. :]

Thanks for the support, people! =D

Not much have been completed here, but the hair and some of the skin have been colored although the lighting and shadow aren't perfect. (I might change it).

Arghhh I'm going to bed now. I stayed up doing this. Haha

Hm, the darker shades of the skin seem a bit too orange - makes her look like she's had too much of a spray tan.

I love the details on the shirt!

Okay, it's been over a month since I've last post. >.>

But I've finally managed to finish it (after some much slacking... whistling.gif )

I'm sorry for jumping many steps (including fixing the skin and coloring the dress/everything else). I was too impatient about finishing it (irony much?).

After this, I don't really want to fix anything, but if there's still some problems with shading or the skin, let me know. XD

Really? I see... I'll make it less red. It's light pink on my screen but I've been getting the feeling that my computer display images brighter than it should be.

:<

Does everyone else think it's a little too red? x_x Because I can't tell from my screen.

Yes.

I think you should make it a darker skin tone.. not red or pink.
