Yes.

"Fun" is only based on perspective. It may be "fun" for a kid to stay out late on school night, but parents will think otherwise.

Well you're arguing based on the parents perspective.. but on a general perspective, curfews are necessary because
a. they keep kids from running around unaccompanied at night time when few ppl are around and it may be dangerous
b. they keep parents from worrying about their children
c. especially on school nights, they help keep teenagers focused on school.. not out partying the whole night and to wasted to go to school the next day

Ok, so curfews arent part of the law, but ultimately, they're necessary and beneficial, though maybe not desireable at times

Nooooo if you set stupid rules for kids they will know they are stupid......so they will break them just because they know they can....having a curfew will just have kids sneakin out at night amd causing trouble just because they can.....

Explain to me how its a "stupid rule" as you so put it..

But NOT having a curfew would allow them to sneak around at night.. you believe that by eliminating curfews, more kids would stay in at night? htf does that work?

I'm somewhat neutral on this one. >__>

Okay. I think we should have curfews because..

1) We could get into trouble if we're out too late..
2) Crime happens at night.
3) We might be tempted to do something inappropriate.
4) You might get mixed up in something that you really shouldn't be.
5) Cops are awake, you know..

There's pretty much all the decent reasons that I could come up with for having curfews. Gimme a break.. I've been awake for a day or two.. *yawn*

Okay. Now the reasons why we shouldn't have curfews..

1) We should be entitled to some fun on non-weeknights.

Wow.. that's all that I came up with..

I guess I'm more for the having curfews section.. I'm not trying to be a goody-goody, just when you think about it.. you're not risking as much when you're in at a decent hour.

Good reasons.

But that would means on weekends ("non-weeknights"):

1) you would get in trouble if you're out too late
2) you may commit/witness a crime at night
3) you may still be tempted to do something inappropriate
4) you might still get mixed up in something that you really shouldn't be
5) cops are still awake on the weekends, you know...

Yes, I think they should. To a certain age. Because there are weirdos out there who walk around at night. Curfews are purposed for keeping kids safe. But I think it'd be okay to not have a curfew, when you're in your older teens.

Yes, they do need curfews. By a certain age, depending on how mature they are, parents can give them more freedom to roam.
