This mouse is just awesome. I have big hands so I was worried I couldn't find a great quality, comfortable, gaming mouse. But when I drove tested this mouse... man I must say, the texture of the surface feels really nice. The buttons feel like they're really good quality. Mouse does not feel cheap in any way. Best of all it comes with a little weight cartridge and you can change the sensitivity of the mouse on the fly! cool.gif

Now there's two keyboards I'm really interested in.

1. The Microsoft Sidewinder:

2. The Logitech G19:

The only thing stopping me from getting the Microsoft Sidewinder, is the fact that the theme of that keyboard is in red. I personally dislike red and definitely prefer blue over it. I like the fact that you can just detach the num-pad and stick it onto any side of the keyboard. I would definitely attach the num-pad onto the left hand side and make that my forward/backward/side-to-side control.

As for the Logitech G19, it has shortcuts, and plenty of them on the keyboard (left hand side). I can assign any application to the buttons during regular computing then during gaming I can assign each button with a different move or equipment change etc... Not only that but the fact that the keyboard has a nice bright blue back light which is great for pc gaming or computing at night.

I've never been a fan of logitech mice. I personally like the Sidewinder X5 mouse, and the SteelSeries Ikari. I'd get a Sidewinder X8 if it wasn't for it's horrible combination of shape, price, and wireless operation.

I'd like to have a G19, but it's too expensive for a keyboard. I'm going to get a G15 instead.

Another good keyboard is the Das Keyboard, an the Razer Tarantula. But if I was crazy enough to buy it, I'd get an Optimus Maximus.

As far as Logitech goes, Their keyboards are their best item, but I also like their G51 sound system. I have it in 5.1, I'd like to get it in 7.1, but I'm not sure if they even make those.

Dude.

Thats about it.

Those look awesome! I don't think I would use the mouse though, caus I have small hands so I need something, small, and flat. Or it is like curved and your hand fits in it.

It would be between the MX revolution and the SlimBLADE.

Funny enough... I see Logitech almost on the same level as SONY. As far as pricing and quality goes. I own their Z Cinema (5.1 surround), their 9000 Pro Web Cam, and now their G5 laser mouse.

Camera:

Which records in HD also happy.gif

and

Sound system:

This works great with Windows 7. Especially since it's specifically made for the Windows Media Center but also works with a few other multimedia applications cool.gif

Oh and also the mouse, it has a very powerful laser but the insane thing is... you can't see the laser unless you flip it over and deeply observe the laser lens/eye.

The thing about this mouse is not only does it have actual weight to it (since I've added the extra weight cartridge) but the texture of the surface as well as the curve in the thumb region makes the gripping of the mouse feel great. Feels like the mouse could never slip out of my hand.

Laser visibility is of no concern to me.

Joseph: Slimblade is a massive pile of crap. MX Revolution would be the nicest mouse out there if it wasn't wireless.

Ya I don't believe in wireless mice or keyboards unless they're blue tooth. And it would have to be the latest generation of blue tooth technology.

That's probably it's ugliest design. They're available in several different designs.

Really? Have you seen the latest gaming mice? They're all... typically ugly. I found this one to be less distasteful. All I really cared for was the comfort and feeling of the mouse.

If you look at the sidewinder, you'd think that the designer of Microsoft's mice must be some sort of Star Trek / Star Wars fanatic.

Dang, the mx revoluton is wireless? I hate wireless. so inconvenient. And all the mice I have seen lately are usb?! But then if I get a desktop how can I get it to reach?!

O if no one makes this I might consider inventing it.
A mouse that is like a glove with only fingertips and you slip it on and tap your index finger for right click, middle finger for right click and there is a laser on your thumb that tracks the motion. And you could set pinky finger and whatever the other finger is called to be a shortcut when you tap it. Should i invent it? haha.

This thin is weird.

Also i'd love to see a mouse that isnt hard but has a rubber flexible feel. But still substantial.

hm.. now a days they make the USB cord about 6ft long. My uncle has a DELL mouse and the damn cord is short as shit. I hate troubleshooting his damn computer with that crappy ass mouse.

PS/2 is still available. I personally prefer PS/2 over USB, because I like having free ports.

But trust me, this webcam is off the hook, son.

I have the same number of USB ports as you, I just connect everything and leave it that way.

I wanted this mouse primarily because the top of the mouse is all one piece. And supposedly it makes your two fingers feel really comfortable lol

Yep.. I only use the PS3 controller for racing games and for sports games. FPS is all about keyboard/mouse.
