No. I hate the official AIM client, it's a bloated piece of shit. I use Adium on Mac OS X, and generally on Windows and Linux I just go without an AIM client because I rarely go online anyway.

AIM 6.8 already makes my computer lag, so I don't think I'll be upgrading to 6.9.

hey, i'm assuming your IM's lag for a couple seconds when they pop up. i switch back and forth between 5.9 and 6 because of this.

The friend requests are for bebo since AIM and them partnered up. You are capable of linking up updates for certain sites like twitter,myspace blog,tumblr,youtube ,flickr and some others. I set mine to black For me AIM 6.9 works faster then 6.8 but then again I dont have alot of programs on my computer. Like the only really big programs i have on there are my limewire,itunes and GIMP. |

im using it..i dont see much of a difference from 6.8 other than the new updates from websites and such.
