I joined here because I like making friends and shit.

Like I joined Blogring back in the day with that same desire and it never worked out cause its like a dead prison hole there with lame people and anime nerds. But here people are more vibrant and different here and sure there are plenty of asians but they arent like super asians where you cant have a conversation about things other then Ouran High School Host Club and pocky and (insert random korean actor here).

I joined in 2004, I believe, back when Xanga was the blog of choice. First I came around for codes and such, but then I some how got sucked into the forums. I don't really mind because it cures my boredom... plus I've met all kinds of interesting people ;p

Pretty much the same here. I found CreateBlog when I needed a good Xanga layout and a friend pointed me here. I registered on the forums in March 2005, but I didn't start posting till about a year and a half later, I think, or else my PPD count would be higher.

I did use CreateBlog's resources to develop my understanding of Xanga and MySpace coding, but I got lazy about making my own layouts, so now I just use other designers' (awesome) premade layouts.

I am actually here because I honestly do enjoy the place. I actually have made very close friends off of cb and have shared experiences with some that I still carry with me to this day. On the forum side, I like being a mod and feeling like I can contribute to having this site go to new places.

Usually I'm just bored, but I originally started visiting cb for the layouts and photoshop tutorials. I was around for a year before I even began posting on the forums. I'm obviously not here for the stimulating conversation, but it happens every once in awhile. There are times when I wish I could just delete my account and forget this place ever existed because it can be so addicting, but then I remember how hard I worked for my stats and I just can't do it.

Also, I like lurking around and reading responses to my previous posts.

For the most part, I'm not here for intellectually stimulating conversation, but only to talk to friends and share/exchange information.

cB's like my portal for all types of random info, whether it be internet memes, weird news or new fads. e.g. A lot of my friends don't even know what Twitter is, and yet I got one ages ago, only because I heard of it from cB. And if I said "4chan" or "I'M A SHAAAAAARK!" or "Why don't you have a seat over there" they'd be like...wtf. I mean, I could become informed from other sources but I'm too lazy.
