asdif'asfds TAKE ME TO HONG KONG, I MISS IT
Umm, the MTR (subway system) in Hong Kong is topnotch, and the shopping is great, but you don't strike me as the shopping type. And I think that Rome would be more interesting to photograph, so I say Italia. |

Yeah if you're looking for modern artsy stuff, Hong Kong is probably more your place. And I think there's a lot of varied stuff to look at in Hong Kong...you can literally do anything you can think of there (except maybe skiing), lots of modern buildings and whatnot, but there's also old historic buildings and great views, if you know where to go. Plus food, shopping and transportation is great.
I am totally biased though, I go to HK at least once a year, so... |

Select stuff in HK is cheap. You can get great deals on electronics in Hong Kong, plus there are tons of small stores that sell cheap clothes and accessories and whatnot. And generally things are cheaper because there's no sales tax, plus at any given time there's always some sort of promotion or sale going on.
Also, just the sheer volume of variety of stores is enough to consider HK a shopping paradise. So designer stuff would be cheaper in HK if it's European, plus factor in no sales tax. Also, they always go on sale (semi-annually there's a Gucci 50% off sale - I know this NEVER HAPPENS in Canada. LV never goes on sale though). I know that Marc Jacobs is way overpriced in Hong Kong, so don't buy any American brands in HK, that's for sure... |
