is there a way to hide everything in the top module except the pic and the display name and move the about me up into the space? so there's not a big gap?

Use this code to move up the Blurbs module:

CODE
.blurbsModule {position:relative; top:-175px;}

Just play around with the value on the top property according to your liking.

Try using this code instead:

CODE
.blurbsModule {position:relative; top:-175px; z-index:9;}

See if that makes it go on top.

i found a code that hides the rest of the space in the module and it does make the about me go up, but the only problem is it hides the nametext too and i want the nametext on there.

div.basicInfoModule div.basicInfoDetails {display:none;}

thats the code that hides the rest of the space.
but is there a way to keep the nametext?

and it moves my interest module up and i dont like that either.
