Studies show that the rate of errors in Wikipedia is lower than in Encyclopedia Britanica. Errors are inevitable, but there are a lot of controls in place to prevent falsification of facts in Wikipedia.
my chem teacher told us that. something like wikipedia is 98% more truthful.

I use wikipedia for all my projects. I don't really care if the info is right, it's what all my teachers tell me to use, and as long as i get a good grade, it's all good.

Wikipedia's fine for high school, but if you actually put "Wikipedia" as a reference for things in college... yeah. wtf.

yeah i would say wikipedia is a better high school source.

But even so, my high school teachers blatantly said "Do not use Wikipedia because it is not a credible source."
