This is a general question for everyone, but after reading a bunch of illmortal's posts, I do want to know why each person uses cB.

Are you here to troll?
Are you here to actually learn something about webdesign?
Are you here to jack a few layouts and graphics for your myspace, xanga, livejournal, etc?
Are you here to use cbSpace as a substitute for myspace?
Are you here because you just want to cause trouble?

Why are you here and not on (insert forum here)?

None of those.
I am here because I am bored and dont have as much of a life as I would like. I disappoint myself every time I get back on.

I commend your honesty.

For me, I just like this forum. Sure, I'll grab a layout or graphic from time to time, because that's what they're there for. And since I've been a member for four years, there are people that I talk to on a regular basis on and off the forum. Oh yea, I'm a mod, too, so in the wee hours of the night, I can delete the spambot threads while listening to Nujabes. Not to mention the overall organization of cb is better than most forums out there.

since my forum never got off the ground, I just post here

I originally joined because I liked the tutorials and the designs here. I stayed because I wanted to be an official member. But I was hardly on for the past 3 years because of personal reasons. So my ppd is kinda sucky.

I came here reading photoshop tutorials, and looking at the layouts. I stay here for the same purpose with the added benefit of being able to have discussion with other members.

i don't even know what trolling is and i don't care to google it right now.

i learned a little bit about how use layouts. that's it though. i'd like to learn more but it would be easier for me if i was taugh in person.

it's not jacking. i leave the creds and appreciate the art.

no.

this is the first topic i saw. i'll go wherever new posts takes me next.

i searched for myspace layouts, found this site, and got hooked. i like talkin' to people on here.

I don't even remember how I found cB, but I'm here because I wanted to share some of my layouts & graphics (as well as scripts I found helpful) as well as use the resources here and learn more about graphic/web design. Lately though, I just like posting here and there in the forums :P

I'm originally came here to jack a few layouts for myspace, but I stuck around because of the interesting people here. That and to troll a bit.

I'm on other forums at the same time, so the "(insert other forum here)" comment doesn't apply too much.

I joined here because I like making friends and shit.

Like I joined Blogring back in the day with that same desire and it never worked out cause its like a dead prison hole there with lame people and anime nerds. But here people are more vibrant and different here and sure there are plenty of asians but they arent like super asians where you cant have a conversation about things other then Ouran High School Host Club and pocky and (insert random korean actor here).

I love you cB cry.gif

Oh yes and I also submit graphics and learn how to do stuff with myspace on here.

Oh, for sure aniwink.gif

I actually viewed the source code on someone's myspace and they had used something from Createblog.com so I decided to check the place out. I would browse a bit... then I made an account and abandoned it and decided to make a new one. I would only hang around the Resource Center and then Kiera sent me a PM telling me I should apply for Myspace Staff and so I did and now here I am.

Are you here to troll? Not anymore.
Are you here to actually learn something about webdesign? For sure. I learn something every day.
Are you here to jack a few layouts and graphics for your myspace, xanga, livejournal, etc? Nope.
Are you here to use cbSpace as a substitute for myspace? laugh.gif No. But I do love cBSpace.
Are you here because you just want to cause trouble? No.
Why are you here and not on (insert forum here)? Because cB is the only forum I use.

I love this place. It'd be hard to leave it. I don't remember how I found cB but I used it to get layouts for my Myspace. Then I eventually signed up, started submitting tutorials & graphics, & now I'm a mod. Never would have expected to become a mod. But it's fun. :)

O and i found cb when I didnt know anything about "google machines" and I got a myspace and I remember my brother looking at layouts here and couldnt figure out how the layout here werent all long like the other ones? I thought they were cool and figured I might be as (not)good as some of these guys so I started submitting stuff and never realized it had a forum a long time later.
Now I try and get better at graphic design and web design and troll as little as possible.

Are you here to troll?

Not at all. I'll admit to wanting to post just a one word response or smiley sometimes but I've never understand why someone would want to join a forum for the exclusive reason of trolling.

Are you here to actually learn something about webdesign?

Not exactly. Although, I initially joined to learn more about graphic design. I was at a crossroads personally and needed something of a hobby type nature to fill in some emotional and psychological gaps. I also blogged a lot on Xanga at the time.

Are you here to jack a few layouts and graphics for your myspace, xanga, livejournal, etc?

I've definitely snagged some MySpace layouts. I'm picky about subject matter in graphics, so I'd rather do something myself or ask someone to create something for me. I love LiveJournal, but unfortunately, cB doesn't have any LJ layouts that I'd consider "my style."

Are you here to use cbSpace as a substitute for myspace?

Hardly. Most people here don't look at my cBSpace or care if I update, etc. haha

Are you here because you just want to cause trouble?

I think that trouble happens enough on its own, no need to create any.

Why are you here and not on (insert forum here)?

I'll leave the "(insert forum here)" blank, out of respect. I'm here because regardless of how many times I hear people complain about the lack of activity here, I've seen forums with far less activity. Also, you guys crack me up. There's a lot in my life that is very serious and it's nice to see what high jinks the folks here are up to or what type of goofy things people will post sometimes.

Also, I've definitely been exposed to things here that I otherwise would not have been. Certain pictures aside, most of the exposure has been very pleasant.

The end!
