I don't understand why people are complaining. You're right, they haven't changed much. Is that a bad thing? Everything is there, it's just cleaner, easier to use, and better looking. I swear, I don't understand why people freak about this kind of shit. It's like "OMG I CAN'T FIND MYZ NETWROKKZZ BUTTONS N FRIENDZZ! FREAK OUT!" instead of taking about a minute to adapt and learn whats new.

I think it's a great improvement. Simple, organized, looks good, easy to use, and to the point. They've been warning about it and offered a tutorial WEEKS ago. Am I the only one who caught that? I really don't understand why confusion exists in this case. And it's NOTHING like twitter. Just because they rounded the edges of pictures, everyone's all like OMG ITS TWITTERZ! No, nothing like it.
Oh, and by the way, MYSPACE BLOWWWWWWSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

Another interweb paradigm shift. The most painful was the decline of Xanga and the rise of MySpace. I'm not 100% convinced that the two were connected, but at the time, it seemed like those I knew that were Xanganites, moved onto MySpace. I have a MySpace, but it ultimately was/is a means to an end as far as the e-conjunction function goes.

It took me a long while to warm up to Facebook because (and this will seem silly) it seemed so trendy. I can't think of a better word for it. At one point though, it was easier, more simple and more people my age (including family members) were using it so I've been Facebooking ever since.

Regardless, it's less of a nuisance than MySpace, in my opinion, so folks will remain.

I love Facebook. I didn't even use it that much the first couple of years (I've been a registered user since 2004) but then it became an addiction during my junior and senior years of college. I don't use it much now since I don't have a life

Facebook's new look sucks.
They have a more rounded look which I hate. Beofre it was more sqaures. It looks more cluttered and they actually took out some organization. Either way...facebook is getting worse. I think I might try a twitter. And for the record Myspace is DEAD!

It's not really a big deal to me, either. They showed everyone what it was going to look like in a link in those blue boxes they usually post notices in as a warning before anything changed officially.

Well, to be fair, the majority of my Facebook interactions are done via cell phone, via Twitter (if that makes sense). When I post comments, it's usually via cell phone texts as well, so of course the changes aren't monumental to me.

Twitter's not really a replacement for Facebook. At the risk of oversimplifying, twitter is like a site only for (facebook) status updates.

^Well, that certainly is a nice feature (updating status via Twitter) BUT, I also love the continuous streaming of TwitterFox. I wish more friends of mine used Twitter. I'd love a massive TwitterFoxing during a Lost episode, for example.

I tend to livetweet Gossip Girl, if it ever comes back on haha. Though it annoys the hell out of my friends because another friend does it too, so I won't do it if we're watching together for the sake of everyone's sanity.

I'm really confused by the profiles. I don't particularly like the livefeed on the homepage, but at least it makes sense. On the profiles, however, things are no longer in chronological order and I don't really get it.
