how often do you read the manual/directions/instructions/booklets/etc.. for the merchandise you buy if you don't under something. Or are you those that uses google to solve all your answers.

Depends. Most things I try and find out myself.
unless its some sort of like problem.
Unless of course its not an electronic and like a desk. Then I always use instructions.

Depends on what I'm working on. Most assembled stuff is straight foreword, like tv stands, bookshelves, computer desks, etc. If it's something more complicated, I'll look at how it's supposed to be assembled.

I'll usually look at the directions, then attempt, then mess something up, then read the directions.

If it's something straightforward I won't read directions, attempt, then mess something up, then read the directions.

usually i try to learn it on myself. But especially for my D80 ive been heavily reading it like im going to do a project on it.

Usually I won't because it's just common sense but when it comes to electronics I like to read the manuals because sometimes you find out how to do something cool that you weren't aware of in the first place.
