This post has nothing to do with "learning" Christianity, however it's a clear example of why no-one should convert to Islam.

religion is one of those things when 2 people who believe their religion is right there will be a debate for hours and hours and still not be over with. i am not a big fan of the bible for it was passed down verbally for years before it was ever written down. have you ever heard of the telephone game. now this is not me saying that god doesnt exsist or anything like that because after reading the satanic bible i've come to realize that philosophy is a better approach than trying to reason with religion. most people dont know what satanism is based on and they refuse to talk to anyone who tries to speak about it in a positive way.

the nine satanic statements: (things written in "()" are the interpretations as said by, but not directly, anton szandor lavey, creator of the church of satan.
1. Satan represents indulgence instead of abstinence!
(do what makes you happy rather than worrying if its a sin, morals do apply, satanist do have morals and know the difference between right and wrong. people who do things to hurt others are not satanic for satanists dont believe in taking/hurting something (humans or animals) against their will. this rules out the common misconception that satanists sacrifice people and/or animals)
2. Satan represents vital existence instead of spiritual pipe dreams!
(this simply means that satanism strives on things that are here, live in the now, dont worry about things that will happen after your gone, if you want to do something you will make it happen, this refers to goals for example.)
3. Satan represents undefiled wisdom instead of hypocritical self-deceit!
(know what your talking about, know the religion your a part of and what their beliefs are and follow those beliefs rather than turning your back on them and doing otherwise)
4. Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it instead of love wasted on ingrates!
(treat the people you know with love, if people you dont know hurt you why waste your time on them?)
5. Satan represents vengeance instead of turning the other cheek!
(do not turn the other cheek, if someone comes after you or your family or friends, go after them, do not let people walk all over you)
6. Satan represents responsibility to the responsible instead of concern for psychic vampires!
(psychic vampires is a metaphor and not meant to be taken literal. a psychic vampire, as described in the satanic bible, is a person who deceives people to get what they want. there is a different meaning for psychic vampire in other religions such as wicca)
7. Satan represents man as just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than those that walk on all-fours, who, because of his “divine spiritual and intellectual development,” has become the most vicious animal of all!
(very self explanitory)
8. Satan represents all of the so-called sins, as they all lead to physical, mental, or emotional gratification!
(the so called sins that christianity claim to be so bad are things that your actually programmed to do or feel. if you want to have premarital sex then go ahead, its your choices, no one elses.)


9. Satan has been the best friend the Church has ever had, as He has kept it in business all these years!
(without one you cannot have the other. christians give you something to fear in order for you to come to them and come to their side.)

i mean there is nothing really immoral about satanism that i can find. its all based on morals because its a philosophy. you dont worship any deity because it sees you yourself as being the one who is in control of your life and your destiny, you live your life and you learn and thus make your own decisions based on things you've learned about right and wrong. i choose to live my life a certain way and i dont think people should tell me other wise.

another thing. anyone you meet who say they are satanic and they say they hate christians are completely retarded. satanism is suppose to be the opposite of christianity yes.. but only in the sense that they want you to live your life the way you want to be lived rather than others telling you to live it a way that feels unnatural. the whole basis of satanism is "do what makes you happy" so if someone wants to be christian then they are doing what makes them happy and no one should try to change them. marilyn manson, member and preist of the church of satan, one of his good friends is a christian priestess is a good example of this. in every religion there is the person who dont know what their talking about and give the whole religion a bad name... i just try to believe that i dont hate on god or any other religion, im going to live my life the way i feel i should live it based on the morals that i have gained through my knowledge of right and wrong that i have learned in the years of my existence and i'll go where i need to go.
