In a recent thread I created, I mentioned how much I missed this show but I had not seen it in years. After a quick search on google videos I watched whole episodes. They almost brought me to tears. Watching this show which stands the test of time quite well, I realized how much was missing not only in my life but in todays society. There used to be a great innocence in this country which we no longer have. There used to be a peace to the world I have not felt since I was a child. It's not me just growing into the realization of the dangers in the world, Ive already considered that. It's peace. I miss peace.

Same, my children will forever be stuck in 1994. Haha, it was my generations Golden Age. Clinton was in office pre-Lewinski scandal, the LA riots were in the past, and the OJ trials had not happened yet. I'll have posters of Problem Child and Forrest Gump all around the house. Every day we will be outside playing baseball. I'll buy a little lot and have a bunch of kids play ball there while the neighbors dog sits waiting behind the fence. Then I'll make him play with the ball signed by the great bambino, the sultan of swat, baby ruth.

They won't. They're too busy making shows like Cory in the House, iCarly, Zoe 101, Hannah Montana, That's So Raven, Drake and Josh, and The Suite Life with Zach and Cody to pay attention to what is good content, as opposed to what's retarded. This is the way I see it. When I was a kid, the shows that were made were watered down versions of shows that Adults wanted to watch. Nowadays they make shows that the kids want to watch, which is wrong. You can say "Well that makes no sense, let the kid watch what he wants." I say No, kids aren't intelligent enough to know what they want to see. That's exactly why we have the listed unintelligent mind numbingly dull shows that kids have no alternative but to watch.

How in the world do you know the names of all of the shows that play now? Don't tell me you've gone bored and watching disney and Nickelodeon

To the post below me - My god, I completely agree. They all got into acting and now they all believe they can sing to. >_>

Pete & Pete - I thought I never heard of this show until I watched the first few seconds of the intro and then I remembered. I use to watch this show a lot as well.

the actors in the kids shows now are trying to hard. they indicate way too much. it's just horrible to watch. and the sad thing is they're leading these kids to believe that they actually have talent. it's insane how the little Disney baby whores have albums. what the heck? who in their right mind wants to hear that mess?

You know my job Holly and sometimes I have to ask kids what tv shows they watch. Add that to walking into any FYE or flipping the channel a few times, its not that hard for me to be informed of the terrible shows on tv now.
