Instead of having the text run straight across try putting it in columns.

The text at the top, where the links are, is driving my eyes crazy. Other than that I like it. Oh and like everyone else said, columns!

Besides the top text (columns! =p), the free mixtapes area bugs me. Are those links going to be image mapped? If not, no one can download them because the URLs are cut off. Also, I think you should experiment with different fonts and weights in that area.

Finale, Jay Red, Dead Sound Entertainment, and Stereo Star - these should all be the same font and font weight.
The album titles (Beginning of the End Vol 1, etc.) - these should be a different font / font weight than the artists, possible have a bit of text-indent.
The URLs for downloading - they should be the lightest font weight, because you want people going there to download, not reading it. People will remember an artist's name or the album name before they will a download link.

I think you should move the bottom stuff up higher. Even if its bheind the text. And i agree you need to change the text on the top of it.

I agree, you should make the text in two columns and have more pace between them because it just looks like one big paragraph. Fill out that open space, I would rearrange the cd covers differently. Also add a drop shadow to the cd covers to make them pop. I would have the cd covers line up horizontally above the "Download free mix..." and box thing not slanted like that. Sorry if that was hard to understand.

ok i did the ringtone text into two columns and re arranged the cd covers horizontally from left to right undeneath that text . . .but now i have 2 figure out how 2 put the links and download information on there and still be legible . . . the only logical idea was to make that black square behind the text so u coudl read it. but since everyones telling me to make that text bigger that means id have to expand the black box and it looks really gay when the box is huge cause it covers almost all of the backgroudn effects . . any ideas on how to do the last part with the text ?

I think the size is fine for the text for the box but yeah it could be a little bigger, not that much bigger. How about you see what it looks like if you make the box transparent so you can see the background effects.

That looks better. Try the transparent box, so you could still see the effects. Never mind not transparent. What I meant is lower the opacity. Sorry

I guess you knew what I was trying to say.

You might have to keep the text the size it is. Just play around with the leading and kerning and see if you can fit everything in that way.

I like it a lot now. The only thing about it I would change is to make the box centered but if you left it the way it is now, I think your client would like it.

I didn't read the previous posts so sorry if this isn't such a constructive post.

I think you progressed with your edits. They got better. I think the ones that look the best are versions 3 & 4. But I think it'd look better if the bottom box was centered. I think the main reason you didn't center it was because of the paint brush, right? Honestly, I think the paint brush is annoying here; it's hard to work around. If you can, I would take it out. Or lower the opacity on it or mess with the settings or something. But it's nice :)

I was right, it did add a little pop to the cd covers. It's something about drop shadows that make things look, I don't how to put it....professional? Sometimes.

I don't like the way the barbed wire repeats. Use one long piece, instead of ctrl+c.
