Black on top, dark grey on bottom.
I dont know why your asking this but if its cause people may see it differently on other computer it may be that on 16 bit color mode its black.
On old computrers the grey on the cB nav bar is white.

Black and sort of a charcoal grey at the bottom. There seems to be a very subtle break of a slightly lighter grey between the two. I could be imagining it though.

Out of curiosity, why do you ask?

big difference or hard to tell? my screen is so bright, i can never tell if there's too much or too little contrast. it's hard for me to see on my screen, so i tend to get a lot of contrast complaints. i can't decide if i should leave it or make the gray lighter.

Its a pretty obviously large difference.
I could take a picture of my screen. I dont quite understand what your asking.
If you have a desktop I would suggest setting your contrast to somewhere between 50-80

I would make the gray a little lighter. To me, basically, the bottom color is black.

thanks for the replies. my contrast was already set at 50, and i just set brightness from 75 down to 65. like i said, i just didn't know if most people would be able to see the contrast, so i thought i'd do a quick post to see.

Woah that's trippy. The colors move when I look at a different area, if that makes sense. But yeah I see black & gray like everyone else said. What are you using this for, Becka?

again, just wanted to know if people could actually see a difference, because i get a lot of contrast complaints. i'm redesigning my site and there are a few parts that need to be noticeably lighter, or else i think the whole effect is ruined. if you want to see the colors on the actual page: http://rockitstudios.890m.com/v3/index.html it's just a rough draft, and the images at the top don't work. it's slowly becoming awesomer.

it's just how your eyes perceive color. a grey color looks lighter than normal when paired against black, and darker than normal when paired against white, so in the image i posted, your eyes almost see a gradient because there's a dark color touching it and a light color touching it.

Have you taken Language Arts?
There - in or at that place <stand over there> —often used interjectionally
They're - they are
Their - of or relating to them or themselves especially as possessors, agents, or objects of an action <their furniture> <their verses> <their being seen>

It's because Cohen doesn't know the difference between the three.
