I was playing guitar a few minutes ago and I was wondering why I am not outside playing. It's snowing where I live, I don't really care about the cold though. I was thinking of going to the Empire State Plaza in Albany, NY (where I live) and just playing guitar for the state employees leaving their buildings. I don't want to make this into something I do often, but I like to play and I've never played in the snow, so why not?
Also, I was in a conversation with someone yesterday and was doing what I usually do when I run out of things to say; I was talking absolute nonsense. So she asked me, "Why don't you ever say anything normal?" So I asked her what was normal? If we separate everything in life between the standards of normal and odd, then the idea of individuality does not exist. Watch the movie Angus. Either, or, above and beyond, tell me... |

There are a few who are truly weird (my signature gives some examples) and usually they change the world in some way or another. Bill Hicks, along with other comedians of the 90's, changed comedy from trying to entertain strangers to having an outlet for their own frustrations and sometimes taking it out on the audience. Hunter Thompson is a weird but incredibly original writer, post-hippie movement.
