I was syncing my music on to my new computer. When the syncing was complete, I tried to eject but it wouldn't. The ipod actually made my computer freeze too, so I pulled the USB cord out the USB port. Then my ipod is still froze, the screen on it that says its connected to the computer is still showing and it won't go away.
Does anyone know how I can get it off or should I wait until it decides to do something? These things should have reset buttons. I hope it isn't ruined forever. |

Try locking it, unlocking it, & holding down the menu & center button until the apple logo appears. I think those are the buttons to press. It should work.

hold down the middle button and menu for about 5 seconds and it should rest. (or it might be middle button and play...try that if the first doesnt work. i can't remember without holding one)
