I was driving to Quickly's to buy Thai Milk Tea (yumm soo good), and on my way back, the car in front of me had so many bumper stickers on the car. There was many anti-war bumperstickers like NO WAR IN IRAQ, etc. Then I looked for more, and saw an Obama sticker. How's that for irony.

i don't see how it's that ironic. it would be more ironic to me if it said NO WAR, or NO WAR IN AFGHANISTAN.

Hm. I sense this is an attempt to be clever, in a mysterious, pseudo-intellectual kind of way. But I'm not sure of the connection; if I recall, Obama wasn't even a member of the Senate when we went to war with Afghanistan and Iraq, and he even spoke out against the war when the Congress passed the resolution supporting the war in Iraq. And he recently released a timetable for withdrawing from Iraq. Maybe I'm dense, but I don't understand how being anti-war and pro-Obama are mutually exclusive beliefs.

You miss the bus and have to take a long walk home, then when you're almost there, a friend suddenly spots you and asks if you need a lift. How's that for irony.

You work at a job for two years without a promotion and when you finally quit, you're manager gets fired and then the assistant manager quits and two management positions open up but you're off the payroll and cannot take one. YAY!!!
