Actually, I laughed at the part where Kate Winslet goes "I'll never let you go Jack." or something along the lines. Because then she pushes him off the board and he sinks like a statue while she keeps repeating "I'll never let you go." Oh, the irony. The other people dying was depressing though.

for me, it would be..
- Life is Beautiful
- The Mission
- Il Postino

^ Yeah, I used to think that was really funny too (the "I'll never let you go" thing), but then I watched it again and she actually says, "I'll never let go [of that promise]" or something.

Edit:

Dumbo, when his mom sings to him while rocking him with her trunk (as she's imprisoned). Damn, I get kind of emotional just thinking about it.

The Sweet Hereafter is pretty friggin sad, in general.

edit, with Dumbo scene. haha :*( damn

I think death note the movie (parts 1+2) is very sad. It is very emotionally confusing.

1リットルの涙 [1 Litre of Tears]
This movie was crazy sad... even more because it was based on an actual person.

집으로 [The Way Home]
And this movie was pretty damn sad too sad.gif

American movies don't seem to get me like foreign films do :P

But Pay it Forward was pretty sad too :(

Hmm..
  • The Notebook - I cried at the end when she finally remembered. Whoops, spoiler.
[* ]7 Pounds - the ending was really sad. Most likely the part when that chick found out the truth.
  • My Left Eye Sees Ghosts - Sammi Cheng's acting was pretty cute. It transitioned from funny to really sad so quickly, but I like that the movie was more of a "letting go and finding peace" kind of film. Definitely worth seeing, even though the title of the movie and CG in the beginning was kind of cheesy. It's definitely not like Korean films with the whole live triangle ordeal.
