Liquor Store Mayhem, Awkward Situations |

What Up. So I've been going to the same liquor store for a while now, it's right down the road from my house and although its run by the Arabs, they have quality products.
The problem I've been having with the place is that the main cashier just creeps me out. The first time I went in he shook my hand but squeezed with only his thumb and his forefinger. It's a little creepy, but whatever. Then the next time I go in he shakes my hand but keeps my hand for about 15 seconds trying to talk to me. I'm trying to pull my hand back in a subtle way because I don't want to offend him. Finally it happened. I go in yesterday for my usual bottles of Rum and Merlot and he tries to hug me. Now Im not a big fan of strangers touching me to begin with, I work with the public and they try to do it a lot, but this time it was just weird. So I buy my drinks and rush out. Im probably not going to go back, I dont know. Comment on this or tell me one of your own awkward situations and I will tell you how I would have handled it. |
