Like moderating an INTERNET FORUM is at all comparable to the systematic stripping of rights of a whole group of people.

I do agree that it's okay for topics to get off topic sometimes, but when it happens on a consistent basis, then someone needs a reminder.

And you if have any more complaints regarding how we moderate, kindly please direct your attention to the moderator performance thread in Feedback.
