I'm not Anti-America. I just dislike America's society and where it has been heading.

I thought you said there are usually long periods of time when you aren't in the US (and didn't even know who was running for president last election) so I don't think your view of "where America is heading" is as fine tuned as you think it is.

What?... I knew that Obama, Ron Paul, Hilary, and John McCain were running.

And the societies of other countries that I've been to compared to the U.S.... is a huge difference. All it takes is experience + knowledge to be wise. And with that I stand 110% behind my opinion. thumbsup.gif

correction: ma'am

It's definitely not biased when I live in the U.S. and have traveled parts of the world + experienced life outside the U.S. Quite honestly, all America truly is good for is getting an easy ass education and making money. Nothing else.

^ He keeps calling me "brah", wtf, this isn't bodybuilding.com.

Oh, sorry, election prior to this one. You didn't know who Howard Dean was. I'm just saying before you try parading around these forums like America is so bad, you might want to know the facts of the place you're insulting.

I'm just talking about the society... I love the Constitution and the Bill of Rights but I hate the Patriot Act.

So he wants an increase in gun insurance. That doesn't make him un-American.

When illmortal types "brah", he's trying to tell you guys that he's well immersed in the internet-culture and lingo. An attempt at being cool, if you will.

lol yes it does.

The liberals ( sick.gif ) know that they can't just get rid of the second Amendment in one move. They keep pecking away at it. This is just another way to keep guns out of the hands of law abiding people who can't afford to get a huge insurance policy to own a $500 hand gun. After this it will be the micro-stamping on the ammo, then more magazine restrictions, followed by banning all semi auto's, then finally banning guns altogether.

So if they wanna play hardball, screw buying guns legally and registering them. Time to buy them off the streets.

At the risk of turning this into a debate, gun control does not equal an infringement on your second amendment rights. It says it right there in the Bill of Rights, "A well regulated militia." And if some idiot gets his hands, legally, on a gun and kills me, doesn't that infringe on my inalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?

Not an adequate rebuttal. Again I say, "well regulated militia."

false, 2nd amendment only states you have a right to bare keep, not rules stating if it can be taxed or controlled

BRB again, joining Michigan Militia. thumbsup.gif

Anyways, the point of the OP was about how it's making it harder to own guns. Not that they're literally taking our rights from us. Instead they're letting us keep it but making us pay even more. So in this case, if this is how it's gonna be, then screw purchasing a gun at a gun shop and registering it. It's better to just buy guns off the streets instead!

just cause you cant afford doesnt entail people removing your right to buy it. i cant afford a lambo, but am I blaming them?

however sadly i do agree with one point you make. prohibition taught us that alienating something doesnt change the fact that people still want it and are willing to go through many lengths to get it.

I don't get you.

You've been saying how horrible America is ever since you started. How you can't wait to get out. How your brain rots from being here yet you're still here. And now you're talking about how to spend your American tax refund.

And you laugh at Anti-American people... with whom you are in the same category.

WTF?
