t-pain is as main stream as it gets.

not that there is any logical reason to compare him to hip hop artists since all he does is sing through an autotune rather than rap...

but there is many many hip hop artists that are mainstream and better than him. if you think t-pain is a better hip hop artist than jay z, you have no clue what hip hop is. nas, kanye, lupe, the list goes on of hip hop artists better than t-pain.

but like i said, he's not really considered hip hop by anyone who listens to it, so it's a non issue.

Snap Your Fingers is one of my favorite songs ever. I fell in love with the smooth beat when I first heard it.

If you can't enjoy simple music, and catchy beats, than I feel sorry for you. Snap Your Fingers is such a catchy and soothing song. I played this song in the car on my first date with this girl, and she loved it.

What's so good about listening to a good lyricist who has a terrible voice and delivery?

I know a lot of nerds that listen to T-Pain at my school, so them dudes with that above 3 gpa are dumb? Ain't heard none of them dudes mention whats his name again? That intellectual rapper.

Papoose is the exact guy I had in mind when I was saying great lyricist with a horrible voice. If I wanted inspiration I would listen to Lupe not this dude. If I could count the amount of hits that Papoose had on my hand, I wouldn't have any fingers.

Too bad Lupe's leaving the mainstream and coming back to the underground. If you listen to his lyrics you'd understand why thumbsup.gif

But he hasn't left the label that made him mainstream. He postponed LupE.N.D., and will release 3 more albums before it. Yup, he really is going back to the underground. _smile.gif
