Honestly, do you really think you've found a gem with that video?

The logic is this: "Walmart is a Christian organization, and they open on Sunday. That's repulsive! So Christianity must be wrong!!"

I started the video after I posted and you replied half way through the video.. I'm sure you only looked at the first minute.

Alright. You obviously haven't read more than a few pages from the Bible. This means that you are obviously ignorant towards what Christianity is and what it stands for.

The video picks out scripture that is obviously meant towards being a metaphor. Also, not to mention, the video only talks about the punishment of criminals. The Bible clearly states that one should be put under trial and to have the problem thoroughly investigated before a punishment is put into place.

Also, when the video mentioned scripture involving slaves, it's actually not promoting slavery. Nowhere in the scripture does it tell people to buy slaves and work them to death.

Just because there's war and violence in the Bible doesn't mean that the Bible promotes violence.

But I guess it's repulsive to you, since you're not old enough to comprehend that the Old Testament is referred to as a genealogy and a history book. There's going to be violence everywhere. Man is corrupt, and we're going to be starting shit all the time.

But when you get just a little older, you'll soon realize that not only is the Bible not repulsive, it's actually a decent read.

In fact, I do agree with you in some point. The Bible clearly notes and writes about repulsive men in the history of the nation of Israel. (But if you're talking about the New Testament, you'll find that there is little emphasis on the nation of Israel because of the emphasis on the hypostatic-union of Christ and his legacy.)
