Weird issue with table backgrounds?, i'm hoping this is an easy fix. Options

hey guys,
i just finished a layout for a venue. i have the working version on my
test page

after logging into the clients myspace, i copied the new layouts code into the about me section and everything looks correct except for now it looks like there's white bg's instead of black on the bottom parts. here's the link to the clients page you'll see what i mean:

i've had this same prob before and the fix then was to change where it said:

just change that to transparent, that didn't work this time.
any idea why that would be, is there a piece of code i can just apply?
