In Saw, it's like the guy just wants to kill them but in Funny Games, they just want to rob the house to get money in order for them to buy drugs and the only reason they kill the family is so that they won't get caught. So basically, Saw=Killing for no reason and Funny Games=Killing to rob house in order to get drugs.

you have no idea what the f*ck you're talking about:
1. saw sucks. doesn't matter. the "guy" doesn't actually "kill" anyone. the point is that he puts them into situations in which they end up killing themselves by not wanting to live (hard enough). he is trying to teach people to appreciate life & to take it seriously by putting them through hell & daring them to survive.
2. in funny games the two young gentlemen have no explicit or obvious motive. although, it can be said with perfect certainty that their intent is not at all to rob the house (in order to get drugs). they don't even f*cking take anything. it appears as if they receive some sort of pleasure in controlling their victims (the family) and forcing them into unusual & painful situations (hence the name, "funny games").

you clearly know f*cking shit about either films.
