blah blah blah potential for life. i feel no different after watching this than i did before. this is just like...the beethoven fallacy with obama put in for beethoven. it's a boring argument. you're killing potential life right now by posting on cb rather than having sex to give life to the potential for another obama. every second you aren't having sex you are killing off opportunities for potential greatness. every prevented rape is one more missed opportunity for another obama by that same idea.

i don't get people who think this is a compelling argument. what if obama had been aborted? shrugs, he wasn't, so i can't care.

i'm sure people on tv have said that before. it's like a common argument between pro choice and pro life people i think _unsure.gif

pro life people love to talk about potential what if situations, it's like their favorite thing in the world to discuss, shit that never happened. i never get the point in ANY of this potential life stuff. "what if you were aborted jc?" TOO LATE NOW. but honestly i would not give a shit if my parents had aborted me. it wouldn't matter to me, it couldn't matter if i never existed. i only think being here is a neat idea after the fact that i was born.

To consider this a good argument, you'd really have to put a lot of faith into the idea of destiny too.

yeah for real. i didn't think about this that much before but it really does all hinge on fate and destiny and stuff if you buy into this. i don't think obama was born to be the first black president. i think he was just born, and nurture, environment, and all these factors turned out what we have today.

i don't think anyone on earth was born specifically for a certain purpose though anyway i guess mellow.gif
