Theme
Your theme for this round is interview. What better way to make a first impression? We want you to put together an outfit that is professional but, because this is a creative competition, it must also convey a sense of fun and your personal style. And don't forget the accessories!

All submissions must be PM'ed to me by Tuesday, February 3rd.

Tips for using Polyvore:
1. I've always found it helpful to narrow a search by store. My favorites are net-a-porter, La Garçonne, Brown's, Topshop, and my-wardrobe.
2. In the editor's search bar, if you're looking for a black skirt, just type "black skirt." You don't have to click on skirt and then the color swatch you want.
3. If you find yourself in a bit of a creative block, it sometimes helps to start with a statement accessory (a bag, a pair of shoes) and then let the outfit create itself around that.
4. Viewing the item on its original site is a good idea. That was you see how it's supposed to drape, how long it is, etc, to see how it really goes with your outfit. I will be looking for these details.

Submission Format
Before you do anything, all contestants must have a Polyvore account. You must include a screencap of the outfit and a link to the outfit's page on Polyvore. Also, a little write up (like less than a paragraph) on how you came up with it, any inspiration you may have had, any miscellaneous notes, would be nice but is not required. So, for example:

QUOTE

I've punched up a basic shirt and blouse combo with a bold red color and a pair of fantastic booties; the boots great wrapped effect add some texture. I kept the only accessory, a bracelet, simple because I feel the shirt is interesting enough to speak for itself.

Also, no backgrounds. We want to see how each individual garment looks and a background will distract from it.

Thanks again, and good luck!
