When you buy any adobe software (photoshop, flash...etc) do they work on mac and windows? Or do you have to buy a specific version of the software for your computer?

And can you put it on more than one computer?
Or if you can only put it on one can you move it to a different computer?
Like take it off and put it onto another?

Well they have an option for if you want to buy it for Mac or Windows and what not. Also, I think that maybe you can have it on more than two comps if you have the serial number.

EDIT:
Dang, Thomas, you posted before me.

Licenses! You have to have the license to distribute the software onto multiple computers. Schools have to do it. Definitely check the fine print on those if you're planning on doing something like that.

Hm, I've used the same serial numbers on different PC's. Of course, I don't update anything and I'm not using the most recent software version.

I'm using CS, but it was acquired. I originally started with Elements though and it was a really good starting point. I would maybe start off withi Elements and save up for the full blown version.

Elements is ok. Its just you cant even make curved lines!
Which is a pain for making logos.

Is there a way to transfer programs or what not?
If you go to program files and give someone the folder to a program and put it into program files will it show up?
